1g trans in 2g with 1g motor swap???

Okay so I know that you normally can't throw a 1g trans into a 2g because of the mounts. However, since I just dropped in a 1g motor in my 2g will the 1g trans work now? I know I need the transfer case too but I was wondering if it would work? I really need a new trans...any help would be very very appreciated.

im sure you could get it to work if you had someone fab up something on the trans for the mounts. I would say stick with the 2g trans/ get it rebuilt or whatever. a lot les headaches.

ps... do you still have that turbo forsale or what?
