Eclipse GST vs Accord V6 coupe

I was coming home tonight on the NJ Turnpike when I quickly pass into the lane of a V6 Accord , I look in my rear view as he starts to tailgate me , I slow down to about 70 (I was cruising at 80mph) and he gets from behind me to the center lane he floors it and im a little late on it but hit it as soon as he pulls up to my passengar side mirror in 3rd I pulled about 1-1 1/2 cars till I shifted to 4th , He gained a little back but as soon as I spooled in 4th (have to get rid of my T25) I started putting cars on him , maybe 5 or more but he was way behind there....We raced to 125 mph.

I can see that being stock and all. I raced one stock and only dropped to 4th and I WALKED him and I was suprised that I only pulled that hard on him. But oh well.

LoL OMFG your are crazy for racing on the turnpike. Trust me i used to live in Jersey (exit 8A S. Brunswick) they are so many cops just waiting to pull people over not to metion its double the fine for going over 65mph:laugh:

Agreed..last year I drove up to jersey from maryland for my girlfreinds softball tourny and there were about 10 jersey and 10 md cops on the border sharing cars to pull over. I gave up arace with a stang because there are so many.

He stayed with me a bit , but i pulled away hard after I built boost....

Yeah same here...but my kill was a little harder, because the one I raced had at least intake and exhaust. Thats probly why I didnt pull on him as hard, plus my stock boost level was only 8 psi(9 psi after free mods)

From a dead stop they are slow through the 1/4, but I think they are much better from a highway roll with a V6 Vtec and 200 horses....

once I hit full boost I made short work of him, with free mods I would have pull HARD. But my car was just a low psi stock setup so oh well now I could beat him with 500 pounds in my car the a/c on and going in reverse.
