Well my car has the stock rims and 205 series tires. For the most part my 60 foots were in the high 1.8's and the best I managed all weekend was a 1.70.

Usually on the street I dont have much of a problem getting a good launch.

It seems like the track is less forgiving.

Is it just the thin tires or am I just not being delicate enough with my launches?

1.7's are pretty good with that size tire. It sounds like your launches are inconsistant if you're also pulling high 1.8's, too. Do you have good performance tires or long lasting M+S tires?
