First time ive taken this car to the track.
mason dixon dragway in MD last sunday afternoon. 90+ degrees out.
1991 tsi awd with 93 octane pump gas. small 16g@19psi solid (profecA controlled)

got 4 runs in.

Best 1/4 ET : 13.287 sec
Best trap speed : 102.99 mph
Best 60' : 1.808 sec
Best 1/8 : 8.519 sec @82.44 mph

Need practice on launching. Always lifting to shift. Car is completely untuned. 550s with a 2G MAF w/Dejon tool. SAFC set at 0 across the board high and low...running very rich.

Overall Im pretty happy with the runs. Im sure i can rip 13.000s and pick up a few mph with a little tuning and more practice launching to aquire some better 60 foot times.

I didn't see any logger type stuff in your profile. What are you using to check for knock, pulled timing, etc? I think that 19 psi on a small 16g, being totally untuned with 550's is somewhat dangerous. I think that 19 psi would be fine on 93 pump gas, if it was tuned. But just flooding your car with extra fuel isn't going to help anything and certainly will not make you any faster.

I would recommend some type of logging software. Maybe borrow a friend's logger or a wideband and get your car tuned and then take it to the track again. You will be amazed at how much better your car will run.

I have Pocketlogger and an safc. i dont use my knock sensor, i have disengaged it. i get 0 knock around the clock. i dont care about detonation, my motor has 161 thousand miles on it. the car is tuned fine. ive been driving the car for 20K miles with no knock sensor at 19PSI on 93oct. running a 13.287 on this motor with slipping the piss out of my clutch to save my tranny and drivetrain, is fine with me. especially since it was my first time at the track with this car. when i bought the car the #1 cylinder already had low compression, about 135. when i took tht head off to put arp head studs in i got to see that my #1 walls were scored and gouged. and that was a,most 10K miles ago. Im rebuilding the motor as soon as it blows. but it hasnt blown yet.

No, I ran the 14.6 with the 14b and alot less mods. I ran a 14.440 on those mods at 14 psi and a 2.8xx 60'. The car hits the tires pretty hard in first gear. I really need to get a better boost control system, so I am saving up for the AEM.
