Both drivers where ok. The body is pretty beat up on the talon. We got the body"straight" enough for the rest of the season.

The other guy should have known to get off the gas after the first time it went, his car started to slide 3 times on that run. He must have been leaking oil or something, glad everyone is ok.

No mechanical failur on the mustang. Just a poorly setup suspension and poor driving ability. He made 3 more passes after the wreck and almost wrecked or crossed the center line on every pass.

#### that, I'd beat the mother ####ers ass at the other end of the track. I'd tear the fur off his ass. I would have to be tierd or alot of people pulled my 300+ pounds off his ass. He wrecked and crossed the line after that pass, and knowone said "Hey dumb ass you cant race for atleat the rest of tonight".

This is a real bummer Jesse, I worry about this all the time. I've had some near misses as well. Best of luck finding another car to get your brother back up and smashing some ass again.

good news is if you have to get a new rolling shell they are easy to find. glad to hear everyone is ok. Even though i would be pissed that the track continued to let him run when he was unable to control the car. I hope he at least apologized.

The car is fixable. This winter it will get a face lift.

Here's the damage after a couple hours with a hammer

Dam, is that 1/8 mile track as short as it looks ? Doesn't leave much room for error after the finish line...
Glad both parties were ok.....

Well if you guys go to TNL at edgewater shouldnt have a hard time at all getting a nice roller paid for by winning each week.

Oh boy... That sucks, but it could have been worse I guess.:| That car was out of control for the entire run. It was like the whole time down the track the stang was just looking for its chance to meet with the ol' dsm.:toobad: :(

5.50 @ 134 in the 1/8th is no joke though, so congrats on that! :thumb:

Lol why is everybody suggesting a new shell? that is unbelievably minor damage. Way easier to fix that than start over. jeez.
I agree.
I expected to see way more damage after watching the video. A couple days in the body shop, and nobody will ever know that it happened.

I expected way more damage than that! Glad everyone is ok and the season won't be affected by someone elses mistake

How frequent do you tear down the Motor and tran in these cars? I notice you run a BW and your bother runs a GT42r. How reliable has the s380 and s374 been for you. I to run a BW, and was looking and making the car relieable as posiable while being fast. What king of maintence is done thruout the seaons on this car aswell?

We run a jb 42 on the black car cause a bw won't fit on the manifold. I prefer bw but can't say anything bad about the 42, it does great.
We usually go thru the motors once a season. The motor in the black car been going strong for 2 seasons. We are putting a fresh one in before the shootout.
Trans just depend. Some last a season, some beak gears in 20 passes.
