Went to the track on the spare 14b for grins hoping to hit a 12 and call it quits for the season. Later left hoping to hit an 11 but with a broken 3-4 shift fork :ohdamn:

First run:

1.690 60'
[email protected] 1/8th
[email protected] 1/4

Second run I tried to leave a bit harder and shift a tad quicker for the magic number but ended up breaking the shift fork going into 3rd. Hopefully rebuilding the tranny soon and get back to the track.

e85 for fuel, 3020 w/me, same mods as 16g passes safc sidemount etc except for a clutch that actually holds thanks to Kenny. Also thanks to Kenny for finding a trailer to get back home :thumb:

Almost there!! After you get a 11s pass, you will want 10s..:sneaky: You have the 60ft and speeds for a 11s pass, just need to hit the gears a little harder..

Damn good runs! Trapped 115mph on the 14b:thumb:
How much boost and what were you shifting at?

Nice!!! Great trap speed as well for a total weight of over 3000 lbs.! Congrats! Good luck on 11's and don't get stuck at 12.0 too long like I did!:D:thumb::hellyeah:

Yeah, if you "hit" the gears any harder it looks like you end up with two broken shift forks instead of one.....

Bwahaha.........ouch. So close, so Galldang close :ohdamn::p

Beauty run on full weight. Especially for the first of the day. Its always my slowest pass. Congrats man

Almost full weight......3110 lbs. plus average 180lb. driver = 3290 lbs.:nono:

Definitely one of the heavier combined weights I've seen though for sure.:p

Did you change anything from your 16g setup? Is this on a 6cm or 7cm housing?
How much boost and timing for both setups?
IIRC, you ran an 11.8x on the 16g with a higher mph.

What is the fastest 14b so far?

Fastest 14b ever is Joe Bucci fwd laser - 10.6 @ 131 w/nitrous best w/o nitrous was 10.84 @ 126

Fastest 14b in an awd no nitrous is 11.514 @ 118 David Womer

14b w/nitrous Nate Crisman 11.448 @ 118

Phil will soon be taking both of those awd records out though :rocks:

Awesome hitting 12.0 though! Especially with that kind of weight. I'm also interested in boost pressures and timing.

There's always room for faster shifting!! I ran a 11.88 @ 116 with a 1.789 60ft..

You had a better 60ft, and only 1 mph slower.. With that 60ft, you should of been in the 11s, if your shifting was tip top!

It's not only how WELL you shift, it's WHEN you shift......

Again congrats man! Almost 11's on a 14b sidemount and a safc! Freezing our ass off for 4 hours waiting for a truck and trailer were worth it though!

!:shhh:!

Thanks for the support!

7cm^2 at 21-22 psi falling to 16 iirc by redline. Boost is pretty relative since I'm sure the compressor is near maxed between shift points. Shifting around 6.5-7 in first and working down to 6-6.5 in higher gears depending on feal. Tach reads high so probably subtract a couple hundred rpm. Timing is probably mid-low 20* up top although my logger hasn't worked in a while. Base timing at 3* btdc.

Yes, 16g pass was [email protected]. Only difference are fd wheels, borrowed spare welded center trans and a 6 puck act clutch which helped immensely. 1.8x to high 1.6 60'

If only you hadn't had that cheeseburger you would have had 11's!

Fix this and you will be there..............................:hmm:

Took out 2* since I'm still on the stock ecu/1g timing map and didn't want timing to get too out of hand with only safc for tuning.

Went back to the track this past weekend but couldn't 60' for anything, nor get many runs in between the occasional snow ROFL Trap went up about to a consistent 115.8x in the cold though :D

Maybe make it back one more time. Original reassembled trans shifts MUCH better I just need to get a 1.6 or at least a low 1.7 60' again.
