(note to mods: first off, i didnt know if this should be in track talk or tranny talk, so if it needs to be moved, please do so, thanx--)

I have searched and searched and cant seem to find a thread that talks about shift points with HKS 264/272 cams. I usually shift around 7100-7400 rpms...but im having a seriously hard time shifting a good bit of the time... especially the 1-2 shift... would a B&M shifter or those shifter bushings that Machv and RRE sell and maybe some BG Syncromesh make shifting a lot better? I really think that this is kiling my times somewhat.... of course then again, it might just be that im a crappy driver and cant shift eh? ...LOL... anyway... do you guys suggest differant shift points for these cams, and maybe a way to make my shifter work better?? Thanx guys--- :dsm:

The stuff you mentioned, won't hurt it either...but, change the tranny fluid, you'll notice a big difference in the first couple hundred miles.....
