Has anyone ever seen a twin turbo eclipse or Talon?
oir heard of it being done?

I've seen many threads in the past, about every single one has ended up with the consensus that it is not worth it in the least.

People have spent tons of money doing it, and it isn't worth it at all.

Definitely. I mean if that is what you want to do then by all means go right ahead. But most cannot see the benefits of a TT setup. And anyway, Turbos are not like women LOL.....where as two won't likely be better than one.

Exactly what size turbos are you going to spool up on 2 cylinders of a 2 liter motor? And exactly how much more air flow will you get out of it from just using a single setup?

People who want TT setups are doing because they want a TT setup, not because they want to go fast. Buy a 3000GT, 300ZX or any number of other cars that come with them stock if you want a TT setup.

A loooong time ago I remember someone actually did a twin turbo conversion with 2 t-25s.

from what I understand there wasn't a gain to be had other than the bragging rights to say you have a TT DSM.

Well if you guys thing that two turbos are interesting, there is a guy in town here that just built a 4G63/4G64 hybrid (using junkyard parts) and he built a 2 turbo and supercharger setup.

The roots type supercharger out of a Ford 3.8L (thunderbird) sits where the air conditioning compressor used to sit and I believe he is using two small garret turbos (out of a Dodge 2.2 Turbo).

He will also be running a dual friction custom clutch. This thing is so crazy, I cant wait till he fires it up to see if it will even run. He doesnt care about top end power, he just wants a torque monster. Since he is using stock rods and Turbo Dodge pistons (junkyard again), he doesnt want to run the engine past 6500 RPM.

I cant wait to see how his project will turn out. Currently the engine is in the car and he needs to just bolt up the tranny and do little miscaleneous stuff. Anyway, 4G63/4g64 hybrid, 2 turbos and supercharger, now what do you think about that?

Doug Derby has done it before. from Doug's Dynopower.

Couple other (2-3) people have done it as well, back before digi-cams, so we don't have much to go by.

It's not worth it.
