Crank pulley removal (not the balancer)

I am tearing my 6 bolt motor down. I got the crank pulley/balancer off, but I can't get the timing gear/gear to drive oil pump off the crank. I used my air ratchet to remove the big bolt but it'd just stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have the engine on a stand, put some of the flywheel bolts on and wedge it against the stand with a couple of pry bars. Then put a breaker bar/ratchet with about 6-10 ft of extension tube and loosen that shit. i had the same problem not too long ago.

The boltis already out. And the sprocket I am asking about is "keyed" to the crank so it spins the timing belt.

IT should just slide right off, but if it is seized than you need to use a puller. A harmonic balancer puller will work just fine and can be bought for under 10 dollars. Make sure to use the right tip on the puller so you don't damage the threads in the crank.

My buddy Al (kilo4) told me an easier way. Just got some bolts with longer threads that fit the threads on the sprocket and alternated tightening them through the sprocket. Just gotta keep them pretty even and it pushed itself right off!
