Would you use these cam gears?

I recently bought a set of "lightly-used" and "perfect-looking" cam gears.

Nearly every tooth has some wear/damage and there are two large dents that have been filed down. Will running without a cover cause this kind of wear?

I just wanted to get some opinions on the useability of these. I will be running ~12mm lift cams with 350lb/inch spring rates with an OEM 4G64 belt.

nope, they will slowly wear your timing belt. I hate to tell you but those are the worst shape cam gears I have seen . Most likely due to no timing cover.

Did you know they were in that shape before you bought them? You get them on here or ebay?

I got them from someone on the DSMLink forums. They were adverstised as lightly used, look and work perfect. The pictures included in the ad showed no damage.

I would do a claim and get my money back for poor description and saying that they look perfect. I wouldn't trust them it could affect the timing belt which is not good

Looks like the gears were used to beat things .I wouldnt use them.;

I agree those will eat your belt very quickly then you going to need to have the head rebuilt when the belt pops.
