Head bolts.

So I got some new head bolts from autozone. What do I put on the ends for when I tighten them down? Someone said there were different tourqe specs for different lubes. I'm in the dark. Do I just tighen them down dry?

You should use some fresh engine oil and tighten them down according to the service manual.

It still amazes me that there is an answer to every question on this board. This one I wasn't sure was out there. Just had to look.

And yet the same questions keep getting asked over...and over... and over... and...

I think we all just like the conversation.

I agree, It gives people something to do And keeps the forum in use. If everyone used the search to it's full extent it would only take one person to answer the new questions

What type of headbolts did you buy and how much did you pay for them? Depending on what you got and how much you payed you may want to consider returning them and buying some ARP head studs instead.
