My car jumped timing and i swapped in a new head.....

Everything is together and the car starts right up. However it was making some extra noises because my balance shafts were not in phase. There was also some play in the timing belt.
I go ahead and re-time everything correctly and throw the timing belt back on. When i was trying to pry the auto-tensioner down so i could pull the cotter pin the screw driver slipped and i saw A small spark. So i get the pin out and try to start my car again and it wont start.
The only belts i have on are timing and balance shaft. I charged my battery and used a jump box so i dont see how not having my other belts on would mechanically effect my car from starting.
I went ahead and check my fuses bc i thought the spark may have shorted something but they all looked good. I swapped ECU's that did not work, so i am not sure if there would be anything else down there that could have possibly shorted.
I have spark and i am getting fuel, the car cranks but doesnt really sound like it wants to start.
I am not exactly sure what is wrong and am at a loss of things to check for. Any clues, specific things to look for, am i forgetting something or has anyone else had any similar problems. The car started and ran, all i did was redo my timing belt which is no reason for the car to not start now.

Thanx

Well, when you pull a head you can open up many disasters. Do a compresssion test just for my sanity. If that is good then spray some carb spray into the intake while cranking. If it tries to start then you have a fuel problem as the spark will ignite the carb spray. Make sure it's the flammable kind. If it doesn't try to start then it's a mechainical or a spark problem. Now, you can check your injectors with the key on and engine off for 12 volts to the injectors. Then swap your test light to the positive cable to check for the pcm modulating the injectors. A flickering light is good. Steady or no light is bad.

Do these tests, pm me and let me know so I can check back
