Has anyone made there own/short intercooler piping for the Greddy FMIC?? Would it be worth doing??

ArcticTsi has a greddy front mount on is 1ga. His was originally for a GT-R. He did his own piping. I don't know if his is any shorter but he can probably give some good advice since he has a greddy and did his own pipes.

Sorry didn't see the second question. I'd definitely try to do the shortest pipes possible because the less pipe your turbo has to fill the shorter the lag time. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.) Sport Compact Car is doing a Silvia (S13) project. This is where I got my info on the shorter pipes. Also their intercooler/radiator setup is quite intriguing. Its in their June 2003 issue. An HKS VPC would help in the shortest route possible but is kinda expensive and might be hard to find now. Also don't know how extreme your ride is going to be so the VPC might be overkill.
