Machining costs for 1G rods and 2G pistons?

I'm wondering first of all, what people have paid for their 2G 8.5 pistons brand new with rings. and what you have paid to have 1G big rods machined to accept them.

I'm curious as to how much money gets saved with the 1G rod/ 2G piston combo, over say the Eagle rod/ weisco combo. I think I have seen this combo in the range of $700, so its getting more affordable.

but.....I already have the big rods and am looking to spend as little as possible.

it may be better to just have your big rods shot peened and run the wisecos on them.
