Anybody running or know anything about the HKS GT25(T3/T28) turbo upgrade. I can't find any info on it, they keep this s*** top secret or something. I haven't seen anybody using this thing, is it because nobody knows anything about it or what? I was reading through the HKS forums and that won't tell you any kind of specs even if you call them, why would someone buy something without knowing anything about it.

Powerwise it's equivalent to a small 16G. The compressor flows 34lbs/min, and the exhaust wheel is the largest of the GT28 family. HKS gets them from Garrett. AGP can sell you the same turbo for a lot less $$ than the HKS. Also, they have their own varient of the T28 which has a larger compressor wheel: 36lbs/min. Check out FP's Big28 as well.

99redgst, just go all out and get the GT35R, look at maclaren55 on this forums gallery, his car is fast as hell

gt35r? Thats a little much(price and performace) for my goals. This is my daily driver for now, so I want something without too much lag but some is O.K. since I'm FWD. So far I've considered the t-28, big16g and 20g. I still change my mind almost everyday on what I want. Too many options, I want to keep it around $1200 for everything needed. I would also like the turbo to have a 90 degee elbow on it vs. a J pipe. I have all supporting mods needed plus a greddy big FMIC. I need some injectors and AFC but I 'm going to wait since I am still unsure of what turbo I'm getting. Anything that will get me in the 12's would be fine untill I get a different daily driver, then I will go all out.:D
