Question

1st gen turbo parts on a 2nd gen turbo


i wanted to know what parts i can get off a 91 tsi fwd 5 speed that will be an upgrade to my 95 tsi fwd. i was thinking tb but dont know abotu any thing else. please help i am goign to the junk yard tomorrow. thanks alot.

cool any one else know of anything. the guy at the junk yard is dumb and he wont know what he is missing. as far as the head what will it take to go form a 95 to that. i know the 2nd gen has a carnk and cam sensore can i cange them over and is it hard.

You can use the 1G CAS if you want but It's not really neccesary.

also if i was to build up the 7 bolt block wouldnt that be just as good as the 6 bolt. i know stock they can handle more but what abotu some internal mods.

the 7 bolt is notorious for crank walk. If you can, get a 6 bolt, your engine will thank you later....so will your wallet
