How would i go about porting the collectors and such, other than just porting the ports of the manifold to match it to an EVO manifold?

 Try asking your question again, I can't figure out what your trying to say considering the collector on a turbo DSM is the part of the exhaust manifold the the turbo connects to. The place where all the exhaust runners collect... Are you asking what you should port on a EVO exhaust manifold or are you asking if you can port a 1G manifold collector to the same size as the EVO 3 one?

Steve

Sure you can open up the collector to match say the 7cm exhaust inlet on something like a 16G. But keep in mind that 1G exhaust manifolds crack between the runners and at the top of the collector over time so you would be better off starting with a 2G or EVO manifold.

Steve

how much should i port it? .. maybe ill just port match to gasket everything ( mani/o2/turbo)

I hear a whistle when car is 1st started, but goes away. There could be a crack but i dont see any cracks visible. "So if u have a 2G manifold please hurry up and send one to me ASAP."

Im going to start tonight and need to finish before end of next week before school starts. TY

Others might disagree but my suggestion is to leave the runners alone focus on porting the collector and removing the step from both the turbo and the exhaust manifold. Port the wastegate side of both the turbo and the O2 housing and really open up the lower end of the wastegate passage in the O2. The open up the outlet of the O2 to match up to your DP.
Gasket matching the exhaust manifold runners will create a bubble where the exhaust expands and then has to squeeze back down to get out the collector. Just leave them be beyond cleaning up any surface roughness.
Replace all the existing exhaust manifold studs that go into the head. Get some SS ones or at least new OEM studs and nuts.
Have fun it will be good practice for porting your next one after the 1G cracks.

Imagine that :)
It depends on if any of the stud is above the surface of the head.
All of mine were broken flush with the top of the exhaust flange so I could thread two nuts on, force then together to lock them and unthread the stud from the head. If nothing is sticking out you'll need to use an EZout of some sort.

Steve

Unfortunately NONE of the broken studs is sticking out, and NO Vfaq didnt help either, it didnt say anything about "removing" broken studs

and i never heard of EZout
