Anyone got pics of their dual pump setups where both pumps are in tank? I am thinking i may have to build my own and am interested in seeing how some of you brought both pumps together into one feed line. I may just weld on another hangar to add the second ump if i can get away with it, then just drill a hole to run the 2nd feed through or make the "Y" connection in the tank some where.

Also, if anyone has a stock hangar for a 2g FWD i'm interested in buying an extra.

Also, when i put in my first 255, it had a pick-up too big to ride in the bootm bracket of the hangar and i seem to have lost the bottom part over the years. Anyone got even that piece or a pic of what it looks like so i can duplicate it from metal?

Well Buddy, I know the exact thread you are looking for. Just cant find it, in the library of info we call DSMtuners...
There is a guy here that made a very simple Duel setup useing the stock Hanger, A wish bone shaped piece of tubing and a standard hose clamp.
Ill keep digging for ya. :)
This may help Altho I dont know if this is the tread, "I" am looking for.
Another The pics work here. post 14
Expensive store bought setup

A buddy of mine has the Full Blown set-up and he can't get it to stop leaking. Apparently, fuel permeates through the hole that the wiring runs through. The sealant that they used on it did not hold up, nor anything that he used.

Glenn - It's going to be tough to fit both of those in the tank. It's possible, but not easy. I, too, thought about a dual Wally, in-tank DIY set-up, but have since decided on an inline Bosch 044 fed by my in-tank 255 pump.

that first link didn't have any pics, but thanks for putting it up for me. I'm pretty sure i can build this easily, I"m just having a hard time deciding how i want to join both pumps into a single feed. I can't decide, in or out, machine something or find parts commercially available..ughh...need pics :)

thanks again!

Got any links to where i can buy the "044" pump or pics of the external one? I would prefer to ahve them both in-tank but if teh 044 will do the job and seems to be more efficient or easier tha building my dual hangar i might go with it. problem is now i'm sitting on 2 x 255 pumps, so i thought it'd be best to use what's in front of me if i could.

EDIT: I don't understand why my first 255 was falling off before i could even max out my 720's and now until i get some more E85 in my tank and play with the haltech again i wont' know if it's keeping up or not... if it is i will immediately be pig rich up top, but that would be great, i just have a feeling I will be the guy that has to add all kinds of crap and pumps that others didn't have to do, just because that's my luck :/

I'm stuck wondering if the pump was just getting too old, or if it was because of the one brass compression fitting on my fuel line where i pinched it one time and decided to cut it and make a clean open connection. I hand filed the edges of the lines and the compression fitting had a larger inside ID than the stock lines so i didn't think it would be a restriction, but maybe it's creating some type of turbulance in the fuel flow.... i have no idea WTF

Glenn there is big issues between which way people say you should go, inline or duel intank. I ended up going the inline way bc, people say if you Y them together one will always over power the other one leading to early failure only good thing is if one fails you still have another. Where if you run inline one pump feeds the other only issue is if it goes out you are screwed with no fuel.

Hmmm. i guess if i go inline then i need to keep a by-pass tube with me at all times knowing my luck

Just search "044 pump" on eBay. They run about $200. You can make well over 700 WHP on that combo.

Cool, is that 700 on regular fuels or 700 on alky/E85?

I was hoping you would say that you sell them so i could just call you and get one coming :D
