need pics of 1g IM and TB

can you guys please send me pics of your 1g IM and TB ASAP, I just went down stairs and compared the one Im supposed to be putting on to my 2g and it doesnt look like half the connections are there. Im thinking I got screwed.. I need help please..
 
ok guys/gals I really need yer help here.. i definitely got screwed.. my parts are not the same parts that I need and I have no clue what these are from.. I took these pics and ive compared them to ones ive seen online

as you can see I only have 3 nippes on the TB which I didnt care when I first noticed since the 4th gets blocked off anyhow but I also noticed the TB is completely different when it comes to the elbow..the 2g TB is a block with nothing coming off of it, this one is all one piece tb and elbow.. this is what its supposed to look like

notice how mine has bolts coming off that slide through the tb and the 1g one im supposed to have doesnt??

so im going to cancel the check for this obviously since the guy who sold me this told me it was off a 94 Turbo DSM and its a great upgrade for the 2gs.. I shoulda known it was too good to be true.. can anyone tell me what it is off of??
 
this makes absolutely 0 sense.. it doesnt have half the connections that my 2g intake manifold has and the throttle body doesnt look like the one RRE has listed or any other place for that matter.. I swear sometimes i wish I had just left my damned car alone
 
yeah.. so i guess the intake manifold isnt usable becuase it doesnt have the right vacuum ports or something and the TB though it would be usable with that intake manifold id need a new custom UICP.. what a pain in the arse.. now my car wont be done this weekend :(
 
ok, so can anyone point me to a detailed install of just puttin on a 1g IM & TB on a 2G head & block.. I can only find installing the throttle body and installing the head, nothing about the intake manifold and what goes where..

btw, i have another problem that I could use help in figuring out..

According to RRE in regards to a 1g head swap this is what Id have to buy in regards to IM

well this is not true.. I have another IM from a 90 Eclipse Turbo sitting in my garage now which looks alot like the Non Turbo one I have nut a few more ports but still missing a few.. namely the one I circled in this picture i attached..

Neither the 90 Turbo or the 94 Non Turbo have this port, only my 98 Turbo does, but apparently this one does and its a 1G IM so they are different.

yea my intake manifold does not have that port. However, it looks like its just going from one spot in the intake manifold to another, and they're both POST TB. So you can probobly just get rid of it.
 
Damn man that blows. Guess you gotta watch who u get **** from. You shoulda asked atthe shop we have 3 91 AWD's and 1 92 AWD with numerous extra parts and engines laying around. Coulda sent you the right **** the first time.
 
the 1g manifold you have.. has a niplpe For the FPR, and a nipple for the PCV valve, but doesn't have one For the BOV =0/ (nt)

the TB you have looks a *LOT* like the one I used to have on the galant, with a lip for attatching intake piping to it.

there *IS* a difference between 90 ISC, and evry other year.
you can Use a 90 in all years, but you have to swap a couple pins(damned if i knew which) and if I remember correctly, you can use a 91+ on any turbo.

mind If I ask what All that "crap" is on the near side of the intake manifold in the *LAST* picture?

I've never Seen it before.(this *is* a serious question)
 
that might be from a Hyundai Sonata. they use a slightly tweaked 4G63 don't they?? but the hoses etc could be different??

just a thought...
 
yeah the IM and TB are from a 94 Non Turbo 4G63.. anywho Im keeping the IM, Im putting a port for boost vacuum and getting rid of the EGR so it should work fine with my new 91-94 TB I got tonight.
 
I was talked out of putting a 1G IM on my 2G head.

The reason I didn't go through with it, was because the 1G IM's ports are much bigger which sounds better but the high volume of airflow still has to funnel down into the small runners of the 2G head. We figured that the air would be hitting the walls of the 2G head since it isn't matched and would create unwanted and possibly performance robbing turbulance. I also thought about porting the 2G head to match the 1G IM, but I don't know if there is enough material that can be taken away to match it before the walls start getting thin. So I opted just to bore out the 2G IM to accept the 1G TB.
 
Can't you still use the the NT TB ? they are like the same size and stuff..i'm sure there are some differences though. Anyone?
