which t-28 to choose?????

i want to upgrade my turbo to a t-28 so it bolts directly on. so far my mods include k&n filter, apexi ni catback, test pipe, and greddy bov. the car is an automatic and i use it daily. my near future mods will include the intercooler pipes and downpipe and maybe the fuel pump. i dont want to do the fuel controller or injectors at this time. so which of the t-28's is suited for me. The T-28, T-28 killer, or Big T-28 killer. I want to notice a decent diff from what i have now without killing my engine. thanks

I don't trust any of the "killer" turbos. THey are just a marketing scam.

Just get a nice normal t-28. I believe AGP has some smoking deals on them right now.

I'd recommend the Forced Performance Big28. Either that or a t28 from APG.

FP 28 and the AGP 28 one or the other. I dont own either and from reading on here i woul go that way instead of buying a Killer turbo.

AFAIK with those mods, it's about a wash.. I've got my eye on the same ones and haven't made a choice. I got a buddy who just threw on the AGP BigT28 and he loves it...

The T-28 "killers" aren't like the 16G Killer IHI Turbo.

i have the Agp T28 and i highly recomend it for the price and proformance but eather way your geting a good T28 just depends on if you want to spend a little more for the same turbo from a different company.

Guess I'll be the one against the norm and shout out "T28Killer." I concurr that the name is a little goofy, but one needs to look past it and see the difference. One of our boyz is running this turbo and it rocks. I honestly can't compare it to the any of the other T28's out there, so I'm at a guess. I have seen the difference between the three being local to Turbochargers, and it's really quite startling.

I love the people that bash the T28 Killer just because of the name. If you have NO first hand experience, keep your freakin mouths shut!

Anyway, you really can't go wrong with any of your choices. They all spool around 2800 with an auto and make insane power for the size. Supporting mods are a must above 13-14psi but can get away with the stock fuel system below 15psi.
