What spark plug wires have the best price : performance??? I'm thinking NGK plugs, and I heard alot about Magnecores... Should I get something else? Wheres a good place to get them for a cheap price??

Thanks

Ngk plugs and wires r prob the best for the price, u can get them at RRE or a local auto parts store, magnecour r alos great wires i used to use them, there about twice as much though.:dsm:

not sure about pricewise... but my magnecor 10mm are really nice... and thick as hell...

I researched this and most guys on here overwhelmingly use and are satisfied with Accels. I'm going to put my new Accel wires on today....got em for $24 shipped on Ebay :)

i just put on denso irridum plugs and nology wires. big wires, i think there 10mm but they made my car rev alot smoother after i put them on. it was more refined and quicker.

I just replaced my magnecores with Taylors and they are very good wires, the resistance on these wires blows the magnecors out of the water..

yeah, Magnecores aren't exactly known for their low resistance. just for being overpriced and having one of the crappiest boot designs

Man i had the taylor 10.4 for awhile those things were like 4inchs to long on each wire, i got tired of lookin at that mess and sent them back, now i sport some ngk's with no complaints:dsm:

stock wires are just fine too. You'll be just fine with bosch wires as well. If you by them from Kragen, they give you a life time warranty as well. On the contrast, with magnacor, if they break from the boot, or fry....they assume you did something wrong.

Most people have never heard of these wires, but they are quite nice. Custom fit, and made locally near my town. They are called Aurora, are 8.5mm, and have all the technical advances that alot of other wires have. Alot of racers use them. And I payed $55 bucks Canadian for em :)

The website is not really flashy, but the wires are real nice. Red, just like my car :)

Do not, I repeat DO NOT buy BOSCH wires. They are crap. I had mine in for three months, and anywhere they are near metal, they ARC big time. If you don't know how to check for arc, turn the lights low, take a water spray bottle, and spray the hell out of the wires and look for arcs.

Bosch wires, BWAHAHA Yeah they crap out real quick, and they don't quite fit the coilpack quite right. But what the hell? They're lifetime warranty. I break em on purpose so I can replace em every time I change plugs. Ha ha ha. That'll teach em to make lousy wires!

I can agree with that for sure. My plug boot on my #1 cylinder is loose as hell and causing mis-fire problems at idle. I'm ditching my Magnecores! I think I'm leaning torward the Accel 8.5 Thundersport wires.
