I am brain storming my future setup for my 91 GSX. I am going to be running DSMlink or AEM EMS or some tunning program along those parameters.

I have been looking to do the upgrade on my fuel system with the -6 AN fittings. I will modify my 1g rail to for the AN fitting.

I will or have;
High flow filter
New SS line pluming
Walbro 255 rewired
Denso 720cc

My question is about the Fuel Pressure Regulator for tunning purposes on my setup. I know our cars run a 1:1 ratio.

How does a 1:1 affect the program I will be running?
Could I tune better with a set Pressure regulator rather then a vacuum controlled 1:1? (I have been looking at the Aeromotive AFPR part#13109 1:1)

I am not sure about the situation when it comes to this, if there is any information of pro’s and con’s, please direct me in the place to find this information.

In my own mind it seams like it would be more efficient to run a set Pressure, then control the injector duty. I personal think it would have more stable tunning management. But I don’t have anything to back me up other then my brain telling me so. And I am always the one to second guess myself, bah!

Thanks

The aeromotive 13109 afpr will work fine for you, actually it's one of the most popular for our cars.
