Another remote oil filter question with a twist

I was wondering what if you don't use the housing and just tap the 2 ports on the front cover and run fittings and braided line over to the remote part of the kit that holds the filter, doing away with the hole housing. I think I'm going to look it over and try it on the old pump before trying on the new one. I'm going run 4" turbo back and I'm fighting room around every corner. let me here your feedback on it.

You have no use for a 4" exhaust on a two-liter engine.

It's not a 2 liter engine, it's .040 over. The 4" exhaust may reduce spool on that big turbo a little.

Yeah, that .40 over makes a HUGE difference in displacement. Still, when Spep was running 8's and 9's he only had 3.5" exhaust, if that tells you anything. 4" is just too much overkill. Its not a semi truck, its just a lil ol DSM.

I was need ideas on what you think about the oil setup, if you need to post bout the exhaust you can find my old post on it. I'm going to be in cincy today going to try to get my an fittings to put in the pump and will try to get pics up.
