As a lot of you guys may already know we build chromoly lower control arms for the 1Gs'. I have had a ton of people wanting something for the 2G's. The 2G's have a similar set up of a Honda and have a ton of wheel hop.

It will be made out of chromoly and should not be any higher than $450. I hope I will able to manufacture then a little easier than the 1G's making them less $$$.

I hope to have a set or two done well before Christmas. Let me know how many of you guys may want something like this.

One last thing. We are almost done with a chromoly front cross member. It will weigh somewhere in the neighborhood 1/3 less than the factory one and have solid aluminum body mounts instead of the factory rubber ones. We are also working on chromoly rear lower control arms for weight savings and be able to run a lot larger tire and deeper off set in the rear. These two items are for 1G's and someone serious about racing.

Let me know what you guys think.

Well let’s just say that the proof is in the pudding. I will be trying them out on one of the guys shop cars first to see what kind of improvement it does.

I will let everyone know.

will be looking forward to the results.. I rode in a friends ITR that had a bar of this sort to help eliminate wheel hop and it was amazing. He launched that thing at 6-7000rpms dropping the clutch and the car grabbed and went with no wheel hop.

you can fill your motor mounts with silicone from home depot. that helps fight against wheel hop ive heard. fill the back and the front if you want you can fill the side ones too but the back and front are the ones most affected by wheel hop. heard it works great. did it to my awd gsx waiting to see some results when i go to the track next.

That helps, but I think Polk is talking about a serious measure to eliminate wheelhop ;) I have the motor mount inserts, upgraded suspension, etc and I still get wheel hop. It was bad enough in June to shear the CASE in half on my speed design center diff OMG

If anything is planned for AWD cars as well, I would be interested.
