PCV valve problem

I was replacein my PCV valve today and when i was puttin the new one in i cracked the valve cover a bit right on top of were the PCV screws in. So am i totally screwed or what? It not very big or deep maybe a 1/2 inch or so. Can i get some jb weld or something an fill it ?

Well im goin to Jb weld that crap up, FYI a 1g PVC valve will not work on a 2g valve cover.

JB weld should work okay as a temporary fix. might eventually want to just get new valve cover. they go for about $40-$50 used.
