just getting ready to put in my oil pressure gauge wondering what kind of pressure I should see whats high, whats too low where should I start to worry. what about oil temp I got a B&M cooler but it looks like there is already one on mine looks exactly the same as a B&M drivers side in front of the rad.

90-91's came with air to air intercoolers.

i see 60psi at 3000rpm. 1G owners typically report near 80psi at that rpm, so i'm not sure if there's a difference between 1G and 2G or what.

30psi at idle!OMG what weight oil are you using? all those numbers seem really high

30 at idle is incredibly high for out engines. They tend to run 14-18psi at idle.

I swapped out the water cooled one for an air cooled on my 96 with the 6-bolt block to get better cooling and to eliminate contamination between coolant and oil. Damn honeycomb oil coolers.

yeah, this week im changing timing and balance shaft belts, water pump, clutch, rear main seal, all belts, brake fluid, and oil. im still debating on what other oil to use. i've been through mobil1 10w30 and castrol 20w50. so far i like the mobil1.

yeah, I'd never run 5W-30 either. I use 10W-40, but not too many major manufacturers (ie. Mobil, Pennzoil, etc.) make a synthetic in that weight.
