I'm looking to get a kit like this and what to know how you guys have your pipes from J-pipe to IC.

If you have it under the motormount you will scrape it on the ground sometimes. So how do you route it over the motormount. Doesn't seem too fit.

Thanks Martin

If your looking for a front mount like that slowboy racing sells one just like that except the core is bigger. It has all the same routing and everything. As for the lower cross member and mount it goes above it. It doesn't look like it will fit, but it will.

DSMspyder99 do you have a j-pipe like the one 95GSXBLUR is talking about? That j-pipe goes down between the fans so your piping ends up on the "right" side of the motormount. I don't feel like buying/having to weld a new j-pipe.

no its on the passenger side i got my ALL my piping (except UICP) custom fitted and made for my car. Its only 3 pieces so not that many hoses to check if i have a boost leak. Total cost $160 + $295 for core = $455 FMIC setup ROFL

well you can either buy the J-pipe or you can buy new lower intercooler piping.. to make it simple I'd just get the J-pipe... unless you want to get some custom stuff made for the same price or more, and then have the stuff that came with your kit be useless. my .02 cents.

I don't have any pics right now, but mine is similar to the one above.
I used the j-pipe that comes in the 2g install kit from slowboy, I don't know if it the one intended for FMIC(don't think it is). I cut my j-pipe to make it shorter, then used the 2.25" pipe that went from the j-pipe to the sidemount. This was a 90degree turn with a long leg. From that piece I used 2.5 inch piping for the rest. By cutting the J-pipe I made it short enought to go above the engine mount. Hope this helps.
