chicopee,
what years do the 2.0 come in? i have a 1.8 and want to know what years they come in and if they are 2.0 awd or fwd? thanks peeps

By 2.0, do you mean the 4g63 2.0 engine or the 420A 2.0?
Pretty much all eclipses are 2.0. They had them from 90-99.

There is also a 2.0 N/A for 90-94. It's the 4g63 (same motor as turbo eclipses) just without the turbo.

i plan on working the crap out of 92-94 eclipse what i have now is a 92 that i crashed :( stupid woman driver and i want to build up the enige puta t4 turbo in but i dont know what would be better 2.0 or the 1.8 i have now i still have the car i have afront frame damage to it tho

why would you want the Non-turbo, wouldnt you want the turbo motor and jsut put a T4 manifold and turbo on it??

Please post in proper English with propper punctuation and capitalization. It will help me to not ignore you, or worse, make fun of you.

In addition, you cannot put a T4 on a nonturbo. Other people can but you can't.

why would t4 not be the answer what could i do with a turbo chagred dsm that i couldnt with a t4?

there's a whole lot more to putting a turbo on a car than just slapping the actual turbocharger on the end of the exhaust manifold........

save yourself a lot of headache and money and time and juss buy a turbo dsm. Ramen said it beautifully, its not as easy as puttin a turbo on the exh. manifold. You need a better fuel system, and i aint gunna even start, the list is quite long. Just buy a turboed one seriously

There's a small handfull of DSMs that run a T4 turbo... John Sheperd, Sean Glazer, ect.. If you're building a car to run 9's or faster... more power to you. But if you are a normal guy trying to build a fast street car.. then you need to take a step back & do some basic research.. Here are a few sites that you should check out www.dsm.org, www.vfaq.com, http://www.dsm.org/archives/t/, http://www.vfaq.com/index-main.html, http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/search.php?, http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/search.php?s= , ect...

DSMs can be made extremely fast in capable hands... but you're not just gonna bolt a T4 onto a NT motor & do it. If you're dead set... go right ahead.. then you can email me 10 min later when you need a new motor.
