I concur with blackGSX2g, the size of the intake ports are smaller than that of a 1G.

Which is the head that is supposed to be bronze on the inside? My gsx head when i pulled the Vc off was all bronze. When I pulled the VC off my 6 bolt swap talon, everything was definatley not bronze..How Do I tell the difference with the head on?Just from pulling off the Vc if possible...

Thanks
Bud

It was probably all "bronze" underneath the valve cover from the burnt oil residue.

A clean rebuilt head that was tanked and degreased will look like this with the valve cover removed:

Pennzoil does that to engine internals. Turns them colors from the nastyness that is that oil. Use valvoline or mobil 1 and you won't have that issue.

Since owning this car I have always used mostly valvoline, except for in the winter, which don't get driven much.....I have some Syntec waiting in the garage for summer..
