Alright, so on 1g's there are pinouts in the passenger footwell. 3 connectors go from the pinouts to your laptop or palm pilot. What do each of the 3 pinouts mean individually? I'm trying to figure this out so I can try logging my other car (95 toyota 4runner). The problem is, I think the 4runner only has 2 pinouts.

doh, so is there any way to log other cars prior to OBDII? (like we do with 1g's but other cars?)

Ya, but dataloggers are meant for more than just diagnostics, it's logging the car, way more than code readers do. Any other thoughts?

Unless there is a market out there for tuning 4runners, you probably won't find datalogger software for them. Your best bet would be to get ahold of the scan tool that Toyota dealerships use for diagnosing.
