lancer V111 head?

Would anyone know if a lancer V111 head fit onto a talon…. ??? I thought the lancer was a DOHC 16- valve 4g63 just mounted in the car different! Could the cams, springs, work in our cars…. I heard somewhere that the valves off the lancer can work in our cars???? does the lancer V111 have any parts in the head that could be swapped over?

Not unless you want your intake in the front and exhaust in the back.

But i still dont think that the head would properly mount up (Dont quote me on this, i could be wrong).

U are right that the lancer head wouldn’t fit on our motor. But can we still use the lancer springs, and valves?? Or is aftermarket the way u should go????

Yes. You can use the sodium filled exhaust valves from the EVO 8. Of course, if all you want are valves and springs, you can probably find something as good or better than stock EVO parts through the usual aftermarket channels. Not that there's anything wrong with the EVO 8. I mean, if you need the extra two doors 'cause the kids have to sit somewhere, then you're obviously the type who's going to have use for a turbo and AWD, right? Don't even get me started on the humongous carbon fiber dork wing. What the hell was Mitsubishi smoking? Booooo! :thumbdown Bring back Diamond Star Motors!

So is the EVO 8 springs any good? Because I want to build a head for my talon… my lower end will have eagle rods and wiseco pistons… I just wanted to build a head Iknow I can depend on not only as a daily driver but most of all a car that rips up the track…

my short block is a 6 bolt
