Blow off valve dilemma

Alright....let's hear it. Crushed first gen or aftermarket? (for performance, not sound)

Even though I love that damn sound

Performance only i would get a Tial BOV...the crushed 1g will hold lots of boost for cheap, so its your call.

So far, by word of mouth, it seems like the Greddy type-s would be the best choice.

Both of my crushed stock 1G BOV's leaked above 24psi.

Now I'm very happy with my HKS SSQV.

They all work well, pick your favorite.

Why didn't you buy the used one? $160 is a good price.

Dejon will weld an HKS flange onto their UICP for you, but it costs a little extra.

Well you said nothing about money, thats why I said the Tial for performance reasons (plus it looks and sounds the best!). Ive seen the Tial on a few cars that run 28+ psi and they are perfect.... For 250$ I think they may be the best for performance. Greddy's Type-s is usually like 190$ and they hold boost for the common folk fine, as well as the HKS ss which is only like 205 most places also. Any will work for you fine, and they will all sound louder than stock. If you dont car about noise and looks, than a 1g should be fine or you can find a used one for usually like 150-200 with the uip attached! Good luck
