I tried getting some answers in the repair maintainance section, but no luck. I have used this oil in my truck because it seems to like it better. Its oil used in diesals. It was designed for use in supercharged and TURBO engines to help them last longer. I was curious to know how this would work in my GS-T. Its a 15w-40 oil, btw.

Do you think this would be a pretty good oil?

i am running 15w40 full syn in mine as of now. that car loves it (it survived the drive from OH to FL....drove 12 hours straight at 1 point)

From "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell:

"One can be relatively certain that an oil formulated for turbo use, and so advertised, will be an adequate lubricant."

That's from Mr. Turbo himself. Can't really argue.

FWIW, I use Mobil 1 15W40 Synthetic (the "Race Proven"/"Performance Driving" one).
