Such a long journey with this car! Quick overview:
96 gsx (got it as a shell)
93 vr4 jdm engine
tre stage 3 tranny
xtd stage 4 unsprung
stock injectors
walbro 255
fuelab afpr
hallman mbc
short route fmic
dsmlink v3
speed density
obx-r exhaust manifold
custom 3" borla exhaust
2 tranny rebuilds later (input shaft bearing) and a headgasket, the car is ready to go!! so i thought.... after a test drive, the 1g bov i was running appeared to be "too crushed" all of a sudden and would flutter when operating.
I decided to go with a NGR bov because I always liked the Greddy Type-S (now discontinued), liked the fact it had an upgraded diaphragm, and also liked the sound. Ordered it and got it 3 days later.
Box was plain, but inside, the bov was wrapped nicely and also came with a few screws and other mounting/installation items.
The install was easy (as with any bov). Took about 5 minutes. I used the gasket provided and a small layer of RTV just in case.
adjusted the screw inward a bit and took it for a spin (running 10psi for another 300 miles)--

Overall, i have no complaints with my purchase. It does its job, has a nice sound, shipped fast, and goes for around $150. I would recommend it.
