I recently purchased a Tanabe Under brace bar (front) for my 2g. I read alot about this part and its really lived up to its name. I've had it for about 3 weeks and I've noticed a difference in my cars ability to handle corners. My car sticks to the road with reduced body lean.
The brace was very easy to install, simply loosen two bolts and tighten the brace with the two bolts. Installation took no longer then two minutes. My friend and I had the benefit of an empty shop and an impact gun. If you dont have these resources, jack up the car and use a wrench, it'll take you 10 minutes.
I'm definitely happy with the product, I would reccomend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade their suspension set-up. I noticed more a difference from this brace compared to my STB (strut tower bar).
Tanabe also makes a rear brace bar for those who are interested in getting both. I personally dont think the rear is necessary, but its out there for those of you who wish to try it.
To sum up this post, the Tanabe under brace is definitely worth the $84 investment. Its a great addition to any car that is subject to serious driving, and hard cornering.
