modifying 95 bumper to fit 97 headlights

ie been having a hell of a time sending my 95 BC2 bumper back to get the 97 one...i hae 97 lights, is it possible to modify the bumper to fit the lights perfectly without too much hassle?

Only if you can devise some way to make it grow that 1¼". What's the new bumper made of? If it's fiberglas, you might get a boat shop to do it.
