Well she is finally ready to get painted. After being in the shop since August from all new performance, new interior, new kit, lambo doors, and now new paint. Going with Blue Indigo Pearl for the paint color with 19" RacingHart CR MultiPiece

Wow, you must be loaded because that's some extensive mods. I like the lambo doors, but I saw some on a 3G and Neon at a car show and those things would wobble and sway everytime the wind blew...didn't look too sturdy at all. Hope yours are different.

Actually mine are pretty sturdy.....Yeah I put about 25 grand into the car from the engine, interior, and everything else. I used to have that tan leather interior...i hated it.

back on topic: nice car btw, look like you put alot into it

Thanks! Its become a big project and a big pain in the ass...but its finally getting there.

Yup that was the whole point of doing it.....thanx for the compliment

Here's and idea: let's see if this can be the ONE goddamned thread about someone's personal efforts WITHOUT a bunch of squabbling horseshit, hmm? It'd be like a new DSMtuners record.

The lock is loaded.

And your pics didn't make it into your posts, so go with the link, all.

Not to rain on your parade, but I don't think you're going to win too many (major) shows with that kit, considering the fact it's been around since the late 1990's, and is pretty played out.

But hey, have fun.

Well thats your opinion and your entitled to it...but I think my car will be pretty damn good once its completed. Not only does it have the look, but it has the balls to back it up! I think I did well!

BTW...which KIT are you referencing..cuz thats 3 different pieces...Not just one whole KIT.

All three peices have been around for a while. i mean c'mon, the wings west aggressor is a nice bumper and all but if your going to win a show go with something that hasnt been done already. the sides, i see them on alot of hondas thats why i wouldnt use them and the rear i believe was a blitz rear(not sure if it was though) but if it is, fast and the furious played it out! IMO, now your interior and system set up look great. your engine bay looks nice. but you did all the work to the enigne are you going to take the engine out and spray the engine bay blue as well?

Thanx for the compliments....as far as the kit goes..it was the only combo i liked...nothing else really appealed to me unless i dumped more cash into the car..and at this point i really dont feel like putting another dime into it.

it looks good. looks like alot went into it. remember that if youre happy with it then thats all that really matters. show us pics when your done too

are you painting it a similar color to your spark plug cover? otherwise I have no idea what color paint your talking about.
and to whoever said he wont win shows I totally dissagree! The car has everthing from body and interior to engine so it has an upper hand on another show car with JUST body work done...I would vote for it if it ever made it into HIN or something around chicago

:dsm:

Thanks for the compliments guys....I should have some more pics this saturday.

Interior looks great! Some better pictures of those good looking seats and some more of the GReddy screen so I could see where it is installed would help me drool more. The only things I see that I would do is find an air filter that doesn't bunch up and do something about those I/C pipes. A car that fine deserves some nice hard pipes to go along with the big FMIC and other shiny stuff under the hood. If it's the battery causing clearance problems try to find a smaller one. I think there's one called a Dyna-Batt that takes up a LOT less space. Props on the car though, looks great!
