rear deck lid cover question.

i have a question about the rear deck lid cover. what does everbody do when there subwoofer box is to tall do you just leave it out or is there anyway to cover that cause when i get my box for subs it will be too tall and i dont want everybody to just see it? thanks guys

I custom built my sub box for my car so it wouldn't be too tall for the lid. In the summer time I would leave the lid off because the amps would over heat and shut off.
