Since I posted this on another forum I frequent I just thought I would through up a pic of a dash cover I am making with a spot for a VPC or TT.
This hasn't been gel coated yet so the overhead light and camera flash play tricks with the weave pattern...might look funny in areas but it is straight and no weave distortion at all. I will post pics when it is done and when it is in the guy's car with the electronics mounted. Might be better places to mount it but this is what he wanted. Just thought I would share the project.

Why so far back? While of course it's too late for that one, I would think a better placement would be directly above the center vents, so it's angled towards the driver like the other controls.

Man, your carbon fiber work is crazy... seriously, how much money is all this goofing aroudn costing? :) Nice job man, very neat stuff.

Yeh, it is a bit far back for my taste but it was where the guy wanted it. Cost quite a bit in time and labor....but it isn't just goofing around though, I make a nice living doing composite work...been doing it for 2 years by myself helping support my wife and son. DSMs are only part of it! :)

When I said goofing around I was referring to your personal DSM work... I mean, that's a lot of raw materials used, for playing around with your interior I would think. Of course, I have no idea what your materials cost you :)
