I been comteplating recently about doing something with my interior. So far all I have are fuzzy-dice.:(
Now as most of you know, my car is purple with a tan interior. Doesn't leave me with alot of options. My boy AJ says I should do it up in silver. Like the ac vents & ashtray & misc...
I'm just not sure. Do you think it would clash? I'm thinking it might not look soo bad because I'm going to be putting siver dragon graphics on the sides soon. I figure this is what I'll do: Silver dragon(generic brand)pedals from AutoZone, One of apc's new cheapo($60)racing steering wheels(in silver)ac vents, door panels, ashtray, etc. spraypainted in silver, some silver racing seats(generic brand probably), & maybe a silver dash panel. I'm thinking of custom ordering the seats with little dragons on the headrests(go with a dragon theme all around). Also, when I finally get someone to buy my swirlies, the new rims will most likely be polished. Chrome's too hard to keep clean not to mention it usually ends up looking like hubcaps.(see sig, you'll know what I mean).
Anyhoos, so you think that all that silver will clash with the tan? I'm dying to do something to my car but since I won't start getting paychecks from my new job(I quit 7-11)until about the second week of next month I can't do nothing big. Man, I can't wait to income tax return when I can buy a bodykit & do a Lambo-door conversion.:D

Also, if anyone has any pictures of tan dsms with silver trim on the interior, please post 'em. Oh, one more thing; If I go through with this, what's the best spraypaint to use on the ac vents & such?

Sorry for such a long-ass post.

dude do this....take a small piece paint it and try it....
couldn't be worst than black, tan, red!!

I would say try it and see ... it might look good! To me though I think black would be better!
colors flow better

black, tan, purple = aesthetically pleasing(easy on the eyes)
silver, tan, purple = very clashy ... IMO

with tan interior.. i like it to just be tan and black.. i think the stock tan leather interior with black dash and accents on the 97-99 look pretty sleek.. gives it a luxury look i guess..

I say try it!!!!

i'm curious to see it because i wanted to go with tan and silver on my interior also, but my car is black so it might match better, i dunno i'm still skeptical on my car. POST plenty pics when you do it too, oh and if you hate the prple cr that much just paint it!!! take that income tax money and when you get your kit just re paint the whole car. I think if you had a color you really wanted you wouldnt be heasitent to adventure out and go with the silver accents. just my .02

tan and silver......hmmm, the colors of the interior of the standard PAGANI ZONDA. so......id say it looks cool. try it.

I've decided against it. About the only thing remotely elegant about my ride is the interior...why mess it up experiamenting? I've decided to get a all black racing-style steering wheel & some recardos & be done with it. Thanks for everyone's opinions.

i most deninately agree, black and silver are the best.....but a zonda is still tan with silver everywhere, and it looks pretty freakin awesome. heh heh
