uhmm the stock bumper is urethane. urethane is alot better than fiberglass, i dont feel like getting into another discussion about this

there is a big difference between what they make the stock bumper with and what theses aftermarket urethane bumpers are made with. most of them have half the thickness of stock urethane bumpers and sag very easily and warp in the heat

wow....ure the first person i met that would take fiberglass over urethane. i guess u have a point though, i wouldnt know cuz ive always kept my body stock.

Now you've met two.

Fiberglass is much easier to work with than urethane, not to mention lighter. You wouldn't know this unless you've actually done some body work with the two materials though. Ofcourse their are pros and cons of each, but in my opinion fiberglass is the way to go.:thumb:

I've had both fiberglass and urethane blitz fronts. Ruined the fiberglass one and had a urethane put on. The sagging off urethane can be fixed if you don't just ghetto rig the bumper on. Custom brakets will be needed to have them retain stock form as there is nowhere for the aftermarket bumpers to bolt onto on the lower portion. Stock urethane retains shape because it has mounting points everywhere, aftermarket will work the same if you put in the time/$$$.

I think that car is ass :barf: :barf:

That last green one is an N/T (I'm sure you noticed). I'm for one glad that it was an N/T that was ruined instead of a turbo.

i hear fiberglass cracks, and urethane just cups and bends

yes it does but the paint doesnt come with it, so you would need to have it repainted anyways. fixing a crack in a fiberglass bumper is easy work, i would assume a bodyshop could fix a crack for less than $75. i could do it in an hour for $20

if i were a judge i would give a big 0 on the origninality cadegory for those cars... i would like to see what the owners have to say...i mean some blitz is ok... but not ALLLLLLLLL
like im sure if every dsm had the BC front it would get old.
