i have a problem if my a/f ratio gauge im not 100% sure if i tapped it into the right wire. i tapped it into a white/red on the 25 pin side. wire on the ecu harness. has anyone else tapped it into something else. my friend says that if the gauge does not move up and down quickly the 02 sensor is bad and also at cold start that shit is running lean. i tapped it into that wire cuz i look at the ecu diagram.

i hear the same thing about the a/f gauges being a waste of money. but since i didnt pay anyhting for mine, ill keep it since it has pretty lights :)

they all apprea to be way off at start up -- the o2 sensor isnt warmed up yet. dont even look at any values untill 10 mins after you start the car

The AF Meter will initially show a very low value till the O2 Sensor warms up. At that point it should start to cycle high and low. If not check the connections and consider that your o2 sensor may very well be bad. It is more common that you think.
