I think most of us would know that ;) We were just asking if he could get his hands on some 1G stylings cause that would kick some serious a$$.

in a week or so i should be finished fiberglassing my tv into the passenger door panel. After that i planned on redoing my intire interior so while im at it, i may just make my own fiberlass headliner, shouldnt be too hard if you just use the stock cardboard or better yet, you could probably just fiberglass OVER the existing fabric in the headliner. Instead of using fiberglass matting, you could spread resin over the top till there is a thick enough coat to paint. If i decide to do it in a little while, ill post pics and stuff. It would be pretty cool to have a reflective type headliner though. Nice find

That's exactly what I was thinking

Just pull the liner down, put resin on the cloth that is already there, sand, and paint.

Alot cheaper than $200

Hell ship yours to me and I'll fiberglass it for $50 + cost of the resin.... LOL

hmm so since my headliner is falling apart... I could fiberglass it or just put on the resin and wala it looks like the fiberglass one?

I just dont know if it would look right though some one plz post pics

If you take the stock headliner out and can use the cardboard piece to recover it with cloth then you could put resin on it and sand it and paint it. It should already have the shape of your roof so you don't have to mold or form anything.

Just put a nice thick coat of resin on it and sand it smooth. If you want to make it more sturdy put some fiberglass cloth/matt on it and then apply the resin and sand it.

It shouldn't if you really soak it.

Take it out and put a nice thick coating of resin on it and it should be fine. I have heard of people just putting resin on their dash and sanding it smooth and painting it without even using any kind of cloth. I think to do that you have to wet sand the resin when it dries though.
