I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse and I have had a Carbon Fiber Hood for about a month or 2 and I was curious what I can put on it too keep it looking nice and to keep it from fading. Can I put regular wax on it? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question. Also is it normal to have a lot of small dings and bumps in the hood for it being a daily driver. Cuz already in the right light I can see a huge amount of little bumps and dings. Thanks a lot for your time and consideration. -Todd- [email protected]

You can use regular wax on the hood. I used Meguiars on my friends at it was fine. A daily driver is going to have little dings etc. from rock chips and other misc. things that will hit your car. Do you just put the hood on at certain times or what?

what you are seeing may not be dings at all. real carbon fiber reflects light in some cool ways did you run your hand over the surfacee to try and fel the dings?
