I've recently changed my interior lights to blue, like jaybone did. I'm in the market for a cd tuner now, i was looking to get one that would go good with my new light scheme. Any suggestions?

Thanx~

can you post pics?

Not the greatest pic, but you can see some of the blue on the radios power button, the volume controls are also blue

I'm selling my double deck. Its a CD/TAPE Detachable. It looks hella good with my reverse indiglo gauges. Matches everything. check it out. It will fit in the dash no problem and will take up the whole square. You won't have to buy any adapter either. Like if you buy the regular decks, you'll have to buy an adapter for the bottom. This, you won't.

I agree on Alpine. A head unit is the key to good sound. Of course, you could also look into Pioneer's organic LED's and Kenwood's Excelon series...

Sorry, but sony is crap in car audio. My friend had the exact same headunit as you dave99gst (until his car got brocken into). and it wasn't all that, but it was something.

Alpine has good quality and yes they can come with the blue LEDs you speak of, however most I see are green

Pioneer has a range of what they can look like, there's a lot of blue and green led ones.

Right now I have an eclipse headunit, the leds are all blue and the sound quality is great, anyways, just pointing some things out.

Thanx, what model # is the eclipse headunit?

This is the one I recently got, one of the newer JVCs:

http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL026998

JVC KD-S890

It supports mp3 playback from CD-Rs and CD-RWs. The control is nice, fits percectly in the slot next to the coin holder in the middle console on a 1G. The screen lights up in dark blue and the letters in lighter blue/white. All the buttons and the area around the knobs lights up in red and there's a little light where the CD intake is that's red too. :thumb:

I used to have the model 54400, which is now security locked and two years old so I didn't wanna waste money repairing it.

Right now I'm using a brand new eclipse headunit model CD3413. Plays mp3's and all that. Good headunits, give out good power too.

Jensen.... their trademark color is blue. the one i have goes great with my blue interior and stuff

Your reply is a little late, considering the original poster had his question answered over two years ago.
