well i just noticed the other night that all my gauges are dim...can anybody let me know some reasons why? and while we're in this lighting thread...can someone tell me procedures on how to replace the dome light...one of the small ones. thanks for responses.

Well this may seem obvious but there is a knob that dims that stuff.

alrite kool thanks...i have an owners manual but i never woulda thought there would be a dimmer switch....who the hell needs to do that..its just harder to see the gauges.

There's also a brain switch located somewhere on the moon. It comes in the "off" position from the factory.

I got a better problem. Everything to the right of my gauge cluster doesnt light up. For example, the hazard light switch, the defrost button, the rear wiper control and all the HVAC controls. I was wondering what could be the problem with that. I checked fuses and connections. any other things that could be it?

EDIT: My gauge cluster lights up fine.
