I just got some twisty side skirts that came off those 95-96 talon and was wondering how people got them to stay on OR tips. AS, i did read the write up that Xavier on dsmtalk.com wrote.

Check STM or DSMgraveyard I'm sure they have your mounting needs.

You can if they are all there, however they are probably old and fatigued from being pushed in and pulled out. New ones will hold the trim on better and tighter. New is always better.

I used new clips and some 3m heavy duty mounting tape when I put my side skirts back on. Worked great

^^ This might be dumb question but I don't understand the usage of the heat gun? Maybe it's to heat it up so i won't crack the skirts OR make it more flexible ? Just wondering because I do have a heat gun.

Found the whole set of skirts locally on Craigslist and just couldn't keep my mind off it and decide to invest my money into it, haha.

Any tips on putting the skirts on? Like which piece to put one first and any other choices instead of drilling holes into the car.

I used the heat gun along with some mold epoxy stuf. I forget the name of it, but it like a play doh compound that helps seal and secure the skirt to the body of the car. This is used on most professional body kit installs. At least, thats how I did it when I was in that business.

Anyways, place the compound where the skirts meet the underside of the body. Prefferbly at the lowest point of visibility so if there are any errors occured, then this will reduce it being visible and whatever fixes you have to make. We had a lift, and got underthe side and used the heat gun to heat up the compound, to where it "glues" both peices together. You don't have to use much

I think they sell the clips at the auto parts stores. Any clips will work since you'll probably have to drill holes anyways, unless you currently have skirts on there now. I have an RS and got some twisty's, Xavier's write-up is the best one I've found online, haven't gotten them painted yet though, crappy weather.
