i was at a car show and some guy w/ a 300zx had a bunch of little strobe lights hidden around in his engine bay. It was kinda of ricey but at night it really looked kinda cool. That's probably more for actual show type contests but i thought i'd throw that in there anyway.

i posted that oic cause i ordered that kit with blitz sides and blitz rear and a carbon hood and i just posted it cause my cars going to look like that soon why do u care what does that have to do with engine dress up ideas

I need more bling in the engine bay myself, maybe it's time for some of those resovior caps and fuse box cover.

They are actually of good quality John. Also that site was the best price I found on there. The radiator brackets are really nice too.

I know that place. It's like 5 min from my house. I know all the guys taht work there.

Some things that help make a engine bay look better are: a Strut Bar, Wire Loom Cover, Vaccume Lines, Optima Battery,Spark Plug Wires, Intake, Breather, chrome/polished parts, and a good engine detail really helps (haha I need one). Any little things help.

Oil it. Seriously, a little oil on there will bring up a shine without doing much to harm the hoses and stuff, ulike (or so I've heard) ArmorAll whick will harden and dry them.

Simple Green first, then oil. Bammo, instant shine.

Feel free to go into my gallery and I hope that my engine pic helps you....The engine is a 4g63 turbo------so far I've replaced the turbo to a 16g that I polished myself along with the throtlebody, throtlebody elbow, valvecover, powersteering pump, upperheatshield on exhaust manifold.....added a upper strut bar,a b/r upperintercooler pipe kit to add more of the polished look.replaced the fuel rail with one from AEM in red, also replaced the camgears with ones from AEM in red also.Next to go were the dryrotted factory hoses.I replaced them with the racing akimoto sillicone hose kit---2 driveway kits so far.....in red..next I covered all the wireing in red convoluted tubing, replaced the UGLY factory sparkplug wire cover with one from hayame in red, also last but not least the sparkplug wires were replaced with ones from taylor 10.4 race wires in red.......next to go is the alternator and lower intercooler pipe to be polished....all the work was done by myself with no sweat.....GOOD LUCK!!!!! fastdsm1 is OUT!!!!!!!!
