Power Antenna with Aftermarket Deck?

How does this work for 2G's with power antenna's? Does it still function as having the stock stereo deck? i.e)antenna stays down if i turn on my radio first... If so, what do I have to do to make it work? Is there anything special I need to modify to make it work?

it will work the same with a after market deck as long as you hook up the power ant wire from the new deck
