My check engine light comes on every now and then. I talked to a guy at Murray's and he said that for Plymouth's that you can find out whats wrong by putting the E-brake on and turning the key to on, off,on,off,on,off,on and the check engine light should start flashing. Count the flashes and figure out whats wrong. Well I tried this but nothing flashed. How do I find out why it comes on? Thanks:confused:

That may be true for "actual" Plymouths, but remember, the Laser uses a Mitsu. ECU and won't work the same way. You'll have to A)Go to a dealer or mechanic that has equipment for reading diasgnostic codes, or B) Get your hands on a datalogger/ pocketlogger and check the CEL code.

go to autozone(i know there are some in MI) while its on and they will be able to check it FOR FREE...i did that on my beretta, turned out that my EGR valve was shot...so i just put a d@mn blockoff plate on it! :thumb:
